NEW iPad iPhone and mobile device service...

Great news for the many many people who have been requesting our service for their mobile devices.

Our VPN solution for iPad , iPhone and other mobile devices will be launched in Feb 2011.

The best bit is that all mobile device subscribers will be able to run the VPN on BOTH their iPad and iPhone, so long as only one device is used at a time. Because these devices use a different protocol to our existing VPN service we have been able to incorporate a connection counter to monitor the number of simultaneous connections from the user ID. You can now have two VPN connections for £5.00 per month and secure mobile access to UK online content for your handheld devices, wherever you are in the world.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

How to give our service as a gift...

Over the Christmas period we have had many inquiries about how to give our service as a gift to a friend or family member.  Here's how...

We are in the process of adding this option to our website as a separate "subscribe for a friend" button. This should be available in February.

However, in the mean time you can easily buy our service for somebody else by simply subscribing yourself and forwarding the username and password supplied to you by Paypal to the lucky recipients. The login link to download the software that we send you can then also be passed on. Your friend or loved one can now download and install just as if they had subscribed themselves.

Please remember that our software is keycode encypted and can only be used on one PC or Mac at a time and cannot be shared.

We have detailed "Sign Up" and "Installation Guides" on our website under the "How To's" tab.

Paypal Passwords

Paypal are experiencing some random technical difficulties supplying Passwords for some of our new subscribers.

The problem seems to be relating to how the password appears in the notification email you receive from them when you subscribe.

In some cases this password appears in an encrypted form that won't work when new subscribers attempt to login to download our software. As we said earlier this appears to be a random issue and by no means affects all new subscribers.

The password should appear as an actual word or phrase i.e silly-haircut  NOT as random text
i.e. MEoefeSYTucUc

If as a new subscriber you do experience this problem, please contact us via the contact form on our website and we will be able to help to you get signed up successfully. We would also like to see the email with the incorrect password sent to you by Paypal to hopefully get this problem resolved quickly.

Testimonial

Alex W in San Francisco seems to be a happy customer :

Thank You Thank You Thank You My Expat Network! Long may you reign supreme with this service :) I got things working within 10 minutes of signing up to the VPN for the UK and it's all working wonders! Very intuitive to use with no cons either! I'll be recommending this service to all my Ex Pat friends out here in SF and beyond now! Excellent Job! Best Regards, Alex W.

Info regarding Cancellations

Those of our subscribers that plan to return to the UK after either working abroad or travelling, sometimes cancel their subscriptions after a payment has been taken expecting to get the rest of the months service
before their connection is terminated.

When the subscription is cancelled the connection is terminated straight away, so we always advise that the cancellation is made just before a payment is due. We can't reinstate subscriptions once cancelled and we do get the odd frantic email asking what has happened and how quickly can it be sorted as a favourite TV show may be missed !!!

The simple solution is to subscribe again, and if the cancellation was just after a payment we will refund the new subscription.

Wi-Fi Hotspot Security

More and more of our subscribers who return to the UK from overseas are keeping their subscriptions active because of the added security of using a VPN when using a laptop on a public wi-fi hotspot.

To find out more about keeping your personal data secure when using public access hotspots and to see just how easy it is for the bad guys to intercept your data go to :
